Stephen Hodde (Composer, sound artist) began working in recording studios at age 16 in his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. After sitting in on sessions with Steven Haigler [Pixies, Fuel, As Tall As Lions] and Mark Williams [of gospel repute] at Reflection Sound Studios, he made his way to New York.
He Graduated cum laude from New York University’s Music Technology program with a Bachelor of Music. During his studies, he spent several years assisting Brooklyn indie-rock producer Godfrey Diamond, and aided in the construction of the boutique Williamsburg recording studio MetroSonic.
After graduating, he produced, programmed, and mixed records for various independent New York area artists before beginning a long-time relationship with Brooklyn design firm Big Spaceship as their resident Sound Designer and Composer. At Big Spaceship Stephen worked daily with web producers, art directors, designers, developers and strategy.
His work has covered innumerable genres; from show tunes to hip-hop, orchestral to industrial, rock to quirktronic. His music and sound design appear on records, television, and over 20 websites. He is a member of the Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G.) and the International Game Developers Association (IGDA).
Megan Hodde (director) graduated on the dean’s list in 2005 from New York University’s Music Technology program with a bachelor of music. During her studies she interned at Interscope Records, assisting in the Video Promotions department. It was at this time Megan began booking shows for the Alphabet Lounge and managing NYC-area independent artists.
Upon graduating Megan began working at EMI Music Publishing in the Creative Department where she assisted the VP of Talent Acquisitions & Marketing as well as the East Coast Creative Directors for rock & urban music. She quickly assumed Creative Coordinator responsibilities, booking studios, setting up co-writes and liaising with artists, managers and labels.
In 2006 she was promoted to Executive Creative Assistant to Evan Lamberg, the Executive Vice President Creative, North America. While working for Mr. Lamberg she was given the opportunity to work closely on his joint label venture, R Tel Records with Rob Thomas (Matchbox Twenty). Megan was involved in coordinating recording, mixing and mastering sessions for R Tel’s upcoming artists as well as providing valuable input for artist development.
Megan has had the unique pleasure of working with many talented and inspiring artists such as The Fray, Hinder, Rob Thomas (Matchbox Twenty), Ryan Cabrera, Paula Abdul, LL Cool J, Pat Monohan (Train), Rihanna, Boys Like Girls, Jay Clifford, Sean “P.Diddy” Combs, Coheed & Cambria, Goo Goo Dolls, Good Charlotte, Jewel, Pharoahe Monch, and Regina Spektor to name a few.
